The coolest rock steady beats for all rockin' rude boys who love dance beats.
Skinhead reggae crew Inokashira Rangers, produced by Sota Takagi, release album on KiliKiliVilla.
The Inokashira Rangers cover all kinds of music in the style of ska and reggae that UK mods, soul boys and skins listened to, especially skinhead reggae, a minimalist, cool instrumental style sound that only appeared for a few years from 1969.

Also known as the Park Rangers in the UK, their unique selection of covers has made them a big hit and they have released a number of classic songs on seven singles.
Now they have released 'Rangers Patrol 1977~1982 UK!', an album of classic songs from the UK punk era that go best with ska and reggae.

The album is a selection of the best punk and pub rock songs released between 1977 and 1982, and is completed with the best cover album ever.
The UK ska scene, which began in the 50s, was a very important root for rude boys, punks and mods, even considering the two-tone breaks of the late 70s and the relationship between punk and reggae. The party style created by London's Jamaican community was also a major influence on rave and acid house from the late 1980s onwards.

The Inokashira Rangers' cover of classic songs from the punk and new wave era, simulating the sound of the time, contains a profound message.
UK ska and reggae, which emerged from West London in the 1950s, where many Jamaican immigrants came from, have had a deep and consistent influence on the dance scene of UK youth culture right up to the present day. It is 50 years since ska and rock steady took over the UK dance floor in the mid-60s with Desmond Dekker, Ken Boothe and Dundee Livingston, and this Jamaican-born beat has continued to influence everything from punk, 2-tone and UK garage to today's UK deep house. From 1967 to 1969, when London's working class youth went from mods to skinheads, a number of cool minimal instrumental numbers emerged, which some called skinhead reggae.

The Inokashira Rangers bring skinhead reggae back to life in the modern era. The sound has a touch as if it was recorded in 1969, and one can't help but be astonished. The album in production, 'Rangers Patrol 1977-1982 UK!', is a selection of classic songs from the 70s UK punk period, influenced by ska and reggae.
The working class anthems will once again hit the floor as ska numbers
